Lucia is a brilliant dancer who paired with some of the most prestigious tango Masters in the world. Her dance combines precise technique and extreme sensibility. Her analysis of the dynamics of the dance and her innovative vision make her one of the most creative and acclaimed Masters of modern tango. Lucia works and performs in various festivals around the world and teaches workshops to share her art.
MARCELA GUEVARA and STEFANO GIUDICE
Marcela and Stefano started their professional career as a couple in 2002 in Taipei: the opera was “ Maria de Buenos Aires” by Astor Piazzolla, directed by the Argentinian conductor Juan Josè Mosalini.
At the moment they are part of different Dance Companies, performing in different shows:
“Tango Vivo”: directed by Esteban Moreno and Claudia Codega, a “Biennale de la Dance de Lyon”’s production, with the ”El Arranque” Orchestra. The show made its debut in Lyon –France- in September 2006.
“Storie di Tango”: the show is a mix of dance and poetry, performed in the theatres all around Italy since October 2005, with the famous actor Arnoldo Foà reading poems by Jorge Luis Borges.
They organize the annual Torino Tango Festival that takes place every year since 2001 at the Lingotto in Turin during the Easter festivities: an international event that, due to the great success of the previous editions, has become one of the most important Tango events in Europe today.
