SEBASTIAN and MARIANA



Tango is an art form coming from the coasts of Rio de la Plata, many agree upon its Argentinean origins.  Today this art form can be considered a universal artistic capital. Tango has become one of the most popular couple dance around the globe, allowing couples of diverse nationalities to express themselves through the dance, and in some cases changing completely their live styles.

Sebastian Arce and Mariana Montes have done a lot for promoting tango overseas by their love and commitment to teaching, organizing tango events, and dancing. Their work has taken them to visit since ’99 over 140 cities, 35 countries, and counting…

As teachers, Sebastian and Mariana are among the most required, participating yearly in nearly 40 big scale events in Europe, Asia, North America, and Latin America.

DAMIAN and NANCY

They developed and they extended their educational vocation gaining numerous students in the Cultural Centre "La Florcita" during the years 97 and 98 of the last millennium.
Later, they accepted the invitation of some students and agencies from Europe to realize their first tour by the Old Continent , and sooner or later the rest of the world, like Tango teachers and dancers.

In Buenos Aires , after La Florcita, they gave a period of lessons during four years in the Casa del Tango.

Also in Buenos Aires they participated as teachers and dancers at the festival organized by the government in the 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. As well as they did in the Cosmotango Festival in its version of 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007.
Among other things, they made an instructive video in two volumes in 1997 called "Lessons at the rhythm of Tango
Damián has participated in a commercial of the Coca Cola Company in Los Angeles, Hollywood, USA in the 99 dancing tango.
They have been taking part in numerous Festivals and International Congresses of tango around the world.

Pablo Tegli


Pablo started dancing in Europe inspired by the spirit of Gustavo Naveira’s school. He pursued his training in Buenos Aires under the guidance of Masters such as: Fabian Salas, Gabriel Angio, Chicho Frumboli, Nestor Ray, Miguel Gonzalez and more. Nevertheless, he found his personal style as an autodidact by attending numerous practices and milongas portenas, where the new generations get deeply in touch with the essence of tango. In a very short time Pablo joined Tango Discovery’s group of teachers formed by Mauricio Castro.


Back in Europe, Pablo started dancing with Victoria Vieyra. Together, they took part to tango events in France (Preayssac, Mulhouse, Rouan, Tarbes, Toulouse, Paris, Bordeaux, Lille, Anjou, Limoges…) and to the international festivals of Oslo, Belgium, Crete, Stuttgart and Swizerland. In June 2002 they danced as solo couple with the band Gotan project in the following concerts: The Bataclan and the Olympia in Paris as well as the Italy, Swizerland and Spain tours. They also appeared in the video clips “Santa Maria de Buenos Aires and Gotan Live de Prisca Lobjoy.


Pablo’s work combine technique, elegance and creativity in improvisation.


Lucia Mazer


Lucia is a brilliant dancer who paired with some of the most prestigious tango Masters in the world. Her dance combines precise technique and extreme sensibility. Her analysis of the dynamics of the dance and her innovative vision make her one of the most creative and acclaimed Masters of modern tango. Lucia works and performs in various festivals around the world and teaches workshops to share her art.

MARCELA GUEVARA and  STEFANO GIUDICE

Marcela and Stefano started their professional career as a couple in 2002 in Taipei:  the opera was “ Maria de Buenos Aires” by Astor Piazzolla, directed by the  Argentinian conductor Juan Josè Mosalini.
At the moment they are part of different Dance Companies, performing in different shows:
“Tango Vivo”: directed by Esteban Moreno and Claudia Codega, a “Biennale de la Dance de Lyon”’s production, with the ”El Arranque” Orchestra. The show made its debut in Lyon –France-  in September 2006.
“Storie di Tango”: the show is a mix of dance and poetry, performed in the theatres all around Italy since October 2005, with the famous actor Arnoldo Foà reading poems by Jorge Luis Borges.
They organize the annual Torino Tango Festival that takes place every year since 2001 at the Lingotto  in Turin during the Easter festivities: an international event that, due to the great success of the previous editions, has become one of the most important Tango events in Europe today.
